About The Painting ...

'Tarpon Bayou'

Tarpon Springs is on Florida's west coast.  Famous for it's sponge fishing industry and the celebrated 'Sponge Docks' it is also a wonderful area for boating and fishing with a network of waterways and bayous.  Marinas and boat yards are everywhere.  I was attracted to this subject because of the contrast between the gleaming white luxury cruiser and the rough and ready fishing boat moored alongside.

The painting is oil on canvas board which I elected to mat before framing. The painting size is 9" x 12".  The overall framed size is 15" x 17-3/4".  The painting is framed under plexiglass, which was a requirement when the painting was publicly exhibited in Tarpon Springs.

The cost of packing and insured shipping to any location within the Continental U.S. is  $15.00
