'Grey Weathered Barn'

This is an oil painting on a gessoed wood panel.  The technique of oil painting is so completely different from watercolor that it provides a wonderful change of pace whenever you feel your watercolor painting is becoming stale.  I like to paint in oil for a while, then return to watercolor with renewed vigor.

I've framed this painting with a linen liner and a rustic outer frame.  The framing looks quite appropriate..

The painting size is:  8" x  11"  The size overall with framing is:  13-1/2"  x 16-1/2.
