About The Painting ... 'The Linseed Mill' This building is part of the Prallsville Mill complex at Stockton, New Jersey. A beautifully preserved group of buildings dating back to 1794. Many artists have painted the Mill itself, but the little stone Linseed Mill nearby, is a less celebrated scene. I find it to be an agreeable subject, just as interesting as the larger more well known Mill. In recent years the Linseed Mill has been used as an art gallery. The day I visited, an artist was conducting a painting workshop inside. The painting is on Arches 140 lb. cold pressed paper using Winsor & Newton paints. It is double matted using museum quality matborads and framed under glass. The painting size is: 11-3/4 " x 10" Overall size with frame: 18-1/2" x 16-1/2" The price of this original painting is $350.00 Cost of Shipping to any location within the Continental U.S. is $10.00
